Alpha Kairos was founded by financial advisor and institutional industry veteran Anthony McCarty. Raised in Oklahoma, Anthony graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Philosophy. Out of college, he joined U.S. Naval Intelligence, serving as a decorated Intelligence Specialist and Analyst.

In the U.S. Navy, Anthony supported both air, naval and covert operations in multiple theaters. He has heard the infamous movie quote, “I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you” more times than you have. After the military, he studied law at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, becoming a member of the State Bar of Texas afterward. After a short time in law, Anthony began working in Wealth and Investment Management.
